Penny Fausey, CPA, MST
President
Our firm founder, Penny has over 30 years public accounting experience. Penny received her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint in graduating with highest honors and her Masters Degree in Taxation from Walsh College.
Don Fausey
Don has a comprehensive background in internal accounting, computer services and management. He served as CFO and controller for over twenty years in small to medium sized businesses and has brought a variety of complementary skills to our firm.
Donna Peters, CPA
Client Services Manager
A team member since 1993, Donna received her B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in accounting in 1984, and received her CPA license in April of 1988. Donna is a recipient of the Wall Street Journal Achievement Award in 1984 and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Denise Steward, CPA
Denise is a graduate of Michigan State University's accounting program, and earned her CPA certification shortly following. Denise is a member of AICPA and MACPA and has had experience in both public and private accounting.
Carolyn Piekarek, CPA
Carolyncame aboard the F&A team in December of 2000. Carolyn received her BA in accounting from Walla Walla College and has been a CPA since 1977. Carolyn is also a member of AICPA and MACPA.
Jeff Irvin, MBA
Jeff joined Fausey & Associates in July 2003. Jeff came to Fausey & Associates with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan and several years experience at a prominent accounting software manufacturer. Jeff received his Masters in Accounting at the University of Michigan.
Debbie Walter, CPA
Our newest addition to the team, Debbie Walter, came on board in the Fall of 2009. Debbie is a graduate of Northwood University and has 20 years of accounting experience with two highly respected firms in the Flint area. Debbie has been a liscenced CPA since 1991.
Amanda Fegan, MBA
Amanda joined Fausey & Associates in the Fall of 2000 as the firm administrator. She has a B.S. in Merchandise Management from Michigan State University and completed her MBA with an Accounting Concentration with Baker Center for Graduate Studies.
Dawn McGinnis
As our Director of First impressions, Dawn provides the warm and friendly reception that lets out clients know from the first phone call that we value our clients and our team. Dawn is extremely proficient in getting our clients the information they need when they need it.
